CCSWLA offers assistance to those who are in need of a TWIC card, Safety card, State ID, or Birth Certificate.  Below is a brief desription of what is need for each of these assistances.  Please call our main office at 337-439-7436 for more information.

All the below assistance is available one time only for each client. 

TWIC Card:  

In order to qualify for assistance in paying for a TWIC card you must have a referral first from the American Jobs Center which is located at 2424 3rd St, Lake Charles, LA 70601.

Safety Card:

In order to qualify for assistance in paying for a safey card you must first get a written cost from the Safety Council for the class.  It is located at 1201 Ryan St, Lake Charles, LA 70601.

ID/State Identification Card:

In order to qualify for assistance in paying for an ID/State Identificaiton card you must first get a written cost from the Office of Motor Vehicles which is located at 951 Main St, Lake Charles, LA 70615.

Birth Certificate:

In order to qualify for assistance in paying for a new copy of a birth certificate you can visit our office at 1225 2nd Street, Lake Charles between the hours of 9:00am to 12:30am and 1:30-4:15pm or call 337-439-7436 for more information.
